NEWBORN
It’s so lovely to be able to capture those first moments, when they’re all sleepy and looking content. I have a range of props that I’m always adding to and, if you have something specific in mind, we can go through the kind of colours or style you’d like ahead of the session so they can be included. Due to the babies being so small (and unpredictable), each session can last anywhere between 2–4 hours. In that time, we’ll be in the studio together getting baby comfy and settled. If all goes to plan, you’ll be able to sit back and relax a bit while the photos are taken. Please bear in mind that availability is limited because I book out the day for the shoot, so we have plenty of time to get the best photos. To make sure you secure your slot in the diary, you’re best to get this session booked in around your 20 week scan. If you’re past this date, pop me a message to see if I can accommodate (I’ll always try my best but no guarantees).

SIMPLY BABY
With little ones becoming quite alert from this point on, as well as getting some sleepy shots, it’s likely that the majority of the gallery will be of them awake. Sometimes we’ll get a shot with them looking directly at the camera or perhaps catch a glimmer of their gorgeous little smile. The older they get the more awake they’ll be. Whatever age and however baby is on the day, you’ll end up with some beautiful images to choose from. These sessions usually take 2 - 3 hours.

JUST SITTING
With babies starting to sit up for themselves from 6 months, you get some brilliant images that show their personality shining through. Whether it’s a simple shot in their best outfit or something a bit more fun like them posing with their favourite teddy or toy, the photos capture a big milestone and a lovely addition alongside your newborn photos, showing just how much, they’ve changed. To maintain safety, babies will need to have mastered sitting up by themselves unaided. You can expect to be in the studio for 2 hours.

Maternity
You’re in your final trimester - your bump is proud and your skin is glowing. It’s a very special time to remember and the images you’ll get will be beautiful. I know some mums-to-be don’t always feel confident in doing a shoot like this but you can trust me – you won’t regret it. The studio is small, cosy and private. I’ll work with you create poses that best suit you and showcase your maternal beauty. If you’d like to do something a bit more relaxed, we can do an outside shoot. I’ve got a range of dresses that you can select from or, if you’d prefer, you can wear whatever you’re comfortable in. The session will last for around 1 hour.

Cake smash and splash
A first birthday is so special and there’s no better way to celebrate than to let your little one get mucky by smashing and eating cake! This is a really fun photoshoot, lots of giggles and silliness! I usually start the session with a portrait before we get messy with the cake smash. And after that they can have a splash in the tub. I’ve got lots of props and outfits but you can bring anything you like along to be included. It’s safe to say that this is the one that kiddies tend to enjoy the most (and I love to do them)! You’ll need to bring the cake. Best to steer clear of chocolate icing and opt for vanilla or pastel coloured frosting instead, as it looks better in the photos. If you’d like a birthday shoot without a cake smash, I can do that instead. We can still have some balloons and props to make it fun.
